This document outlines the terms and conditions of use for the GP Health Direct service.
By accessing this website or using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use the service if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
We offer access to a comprehensive private GP service designed for convenience and flexibility. Our users can schedule and attend telephone or video consultations with our experienced doctors from the comfort of their own homes. This service allows for unlimited use, subject to a fair usage policy, ensuring all patients receive timely and effective medical advice.
Whether you need a routine check-up, medical advice, or a prescription, our dedicated team of professionals are here to assist you. Our service is perfect for those who lead busy lives and require quick access to medical consultations without the need to visit a physical clinic.
This is not a substitute for any regular health services you are normally registered with, e.g., your local GP. You may still need to see a professional healthcare practitioner, face-to-face, or to attend emergency services in person if instructed to do so.
GP Health Direct and/or its healthcare practitioners retain full and final say on whether any aspect of the service is available to the User. All features of the service are subject to availability and parts may be withdrawn at any time.
Users must provide accurate information when signing up. Users must not share access to the GP Health Direct service, other than their own immediate family who resides at the same address as them. Users must not use the service beyond that of the fair usage policy. Users must follow instructions given to them by the healthcare professionals that operate the service they access. Users may be asked to present proof of identity when using the service and should have this ready in case it is asked for.
Payments are to be made via debit or credit card at point of signup, or after any trial period has concluded. All prices are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) unless stated otherwise. Where a payment fails to process, we may retry processing of the payment for up to six months from its due date.
Users are entitled to a full refund if the service is cancelled within 14 days of payment and as long as the service has not been used. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days. After the 14-day period, refunds may be issued at the discretion of GP Health Direct.
Where users have signed up to a trial period, they can cancel during this trial period at no cost. After their trial period, users will be billed using the debit or credit card provided at sign up. Refunds after billing will be subject to section 5 of these terms and conditions.
GP Health Direct will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use the service, including the advice that is given. Any complaints about the advice given must be presented to GP Health Direct who will relay it to the service provider.
Our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with these terms shall be limited to the amount you have paid to us for the service.
We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be notified to users via email or a notice on our website.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between GP Health Direct and you, the User. It supersedes and replaces any prior agreements, representations, warranties, or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to such matters. No other terms or conditions shall be binding unless expressly agreed to in writing and signed by a director of GP Health Direct. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
This Agreement and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it, its subject matter, or formation, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with this Agreement. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
